Mic Ross was born July 20th 1989, In Brighams Women's Hospital. He spent most of his child hood moving back and forth between the city of Boston and the rural town Americus, Ga. He started his music career in 2011 with the music group A.N.C. but went solo and branched out on his own in 2012, before ultimately merging with the powerhouse clique/team and independent record label No Muzzle Ent.
Since joining the No Muzzle Ent movement in July 2015 Mic Ross has been on an impressive wave, releasing a string of videos and singles including his Pandora Approved hit "First To The First" featuring his business partner and engineer Shawn "Hush" Harding. The track opens with Ross exclaiming that he acquired his grind from the struggle and would love to have the entire world in his duffle bag, including a witty, exuberant and fast paced verse explaining how he and his comrades work towards more success.
The Boston rapper's debut album "Winning Is A Given" established him as a diverse and talented artist. While songs like The Kee and First To The First prove that Ross can carry a tune there are also songs like Pressure and One Mic where the rapper his lyrical ability in full display. The album also features his stand out singles Worth The Wait and Everybody.
His most popular release to date has to be his emotional love letter "Let Jazz Down" written for his former girlfriend and love interest. The video opens with a shirtless Ross in the studio, swaying in front of a golden microphone and serenading the love of his life over the smash hit "Let Nas Down" by J. Cole. Completely taking a classic song and moment in the modern era hip hop and making it into his own. His other notable releases include "First To The First, Everybody and Worth The Wait" in no particular order.
